Hello everyone,
Realized that there is some news I need to catch the loyal 3.6 up on. So strap in, and I'll inform you all of what I've been doing since my last update.
Last Light of Outrymer
The first draft of the project was finished on June 19th. I'm currently taking a short hiatus while I work towards getting my associates. Right now, the project is with two beta readers (friends who are reading and providing feedback) and the goal is to move forward when they finish reading, so I'll have a realistic grasp of the strengths and weaknesses of the story. I also submitted the prologue for feedback on my friend Hannah Ruth's blog. https://faithfictionandfairytales.wordpress.com/2024/09/12/first-chapter-thursday-last-light-of-outrymer/ Here is the link to that if you want to read.
Diverged in a Wood
The anthology released on the 5th. So far, we've already sold a few copies. If you want to buy a copy and support our efforts to bring clean fiction to the masses, here is the Amazon link. https://www.amazon.com/Diverged-Wood-Kylie-Beevers-ebook/dp/B0DFQFT5LW?ref_=ast_author_dp There is talk of another anthology coming in the future and I will definitely let you all know if that materializes.
My new venture
While I've been waiting for feedback on the first draft of Last Light, I've been tinkering around with Substack, and I am working on getting established on that platform. My hope once I get out of the creative slump I've been in since finishing Last Light is to deploy a project from the Last Light universe in installments on the app. Sort of a serial novel in the tradition of Charles Dickens. Here is a link to the substack if you all want to subscribe so you don't miss out on anything. https://noahmugrage.substack.com/?r=2qf23r&utm_campaign=pub-share-checklist
Thats all for now. When I post again, it will hopefully be more on Last Light.
